Registration and Abstract Submission:

The registration and abstract submission for the BioX Annual Conference 2022 is now open. You can opt for a poster or podium presentation or both during the submission process. All abstracts will be considered for poster presentations, while a select number will be shortlisted for Podium presentations.

Both the poster and podium presentations will be judged for Best Poster Presentation Award (3 awards) and Best Oral Presentation Award (3 awards).

Registration is Free for students and faculty from other institutes.

    Scientific abstracts in the following broad areas are invited

  • Biomedicine
  • Bioprocess
  • Bioinformatics
  • Proteomics
  • Disease biology

Abstract Guidelines: Abstract must be of one page only. The abstract should have these sections- Introduction, Methods, Results & Discussion, Conclusion, References (if required), Acknowledgements (if required). Maximum of one figure panel can be inserted in the abstract. The abstract must be uploaded in PDF format only on the submission link. Please name the file with your full name followed by BioX 2022 (eg. Ram Sampat BioX 2022). Please find a word template for writing abstracts attached below-

1. Parashar Lake (

Located at an altitude of 2730 mtr. Prashar is known for Prashar lake, sloppy meadows, dense forest and the panoramic view of snow clad ranges of Dhauladhar. The “Prashar Lake” which has perimeter of about 300 mtr. is decorated by a floating island in it. Its crystal clear water adds to the charm of this scenic spot.

2. The Great Himalayan National Park (ttps://

GHNP was awarded UNESCO World Heritage Site status in 2014, in recognition of its outstanding significance for biodiversity conservation. The park protects over 1,000 plant species, including many medicinal herbs, 31 mammal species and 209 bird species, as well as amphibians, reptiles and insects. Four of GHNP’s mammal species and three of its bird species are globally threatened, including the musk deer and the western horned tragopan.
